I’ve been a dedicated facilitator of complementary alternative medicine and manual therapy since 2003. I love empowering clients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts. As a Massage and Manual Therapist, I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. I am always looking to integrate new treatments and therapies into my practice and believe that continued learning is important.​​

 

I grew up on a small farm and had the pleasure of working with standardbred horses. I realized at an early age that I had a passion for sensing and working with my hands. As a teenager I started learning an alignment technique of applied kinesiology-manual muscle testing using the feet to find areas of restriction in the spine and body. I also began Reiki training which led to Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki training. It was this experience that broadened my awareness and honed my intuition and palpatory listening skills.

 

​I graduated from Algonquin College in Ottawa with a diploma in Health Science specializing in Massage Therapy and am an active member with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Over my career I have continued training in the areas of Craniosacral Therapy, Fascial Mobilization, Visceral Mobilization, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shamanic Healing, Hatha Yoga and Zen Meditation. 

 

​I have a deep passion for personal development and many forms of healing arts. I have realized that the more I train and practice the less I seem to know about the complexity of the human body and spirit. I am deeply grateful to all my mentors and guides who have and continue to support me personally and professionally.
